Die Design and Manufacture

The CAD department is responsible for creating die designs using customer provided data and customer die design standards. The design is created using 3-D solid modeling.

Manufacture:

The Die Construction and Tryout divisions at Comau consist of over 1 Million sq. feet of manufacturing floor space. Our tryout activities are supported by more than 90 presses.

Machining:

The machining capacity includes:

• 2-D high speed machining (ceramic inserts)
• 3-D high speed machining (CBN inserts)
• cut hard process ( 3-D & trim steels)
• digitizing and data retrieval
