Press to Press Robots
The family of H robots give full proof of their exceptional agility, speed, and robustness in heavy duty handling and press to press line automation applications. The SMART H3 is the version dedicated to fast handling of parts between presses.
In addition to the basic version, the following models are also available :
- H3.2 XL: with oversized wrist payload 90 kg
- H3 SWIFT: double drive on axis 1 for "formula 1" speed and acceleration
- H3 SH: "Shelf" version for manipulation of large parts
- H3 4.60: 4-axis model, for installation on the press and suited for load/unload operations
- Designed around the unmatched experience of press line automation, COMAU has also developed a complete application software package to manage the entire robotic line, optimizing cycle time by synchronizing robot and press movements

- Robot with 6 degrees of freedom on a parallel kinematic structure, based on 3 linear actuators and on a 3 axis wrist
- Increased stiffness which allows the application of a maximum force of 15,000 N
- Wrist can handle a payload of 60 kg
- Very high repeatability and precision capabilities, which can provide solutions for machining and assembly applications
- Increased axis speed and acceleration, which improve cycle time of an assembly cell
